Appendix A: Creature traits

Amphibious

You take no penalties where performing an action underwater.

Automatic

You can reload a ranged weapons as a free action.

Dormant

This creature can't do any action.

Flying

You can fly. Getting off the ground requires a free action.

Maximizing

The creature's summoner can fire a spell at it. The spell will then bounce to the real target, but with enhanced strength. Roll the dice twice and take the best result between the two.
After this effect has been triggered the creature disappears.

Natural weapon

Your unharmed attacks deal one extra point of damage.

Numbing poison

Whenever you deal at least one point of damage, the victim is struck with a numbing poison which gives a disadvantage of one dice to all physical rolls.
The poison does not stack and lasts for six hours.

Poisonous fangs

Whenever you deal at least one point of damage, the victim is struck with deadly poison.
The poison causes one point of damage after three hours and another point after six hours. The poison does not stack.

Regeneration

Regenerate one point of your current health level per round.

Tail stab

You perform a stabbing move with your tail, with a disadvantage of two dice. The attack has the armor piercing property.

Undead

You are immune to poisons and diseases. Sleeping, eating, and breathing are meaningless to you. On the flip side, you can't recover lost health points.
